"Resistance" is a celebration of the courage and strength of those who have suffered at the hands of oppression. Honoring in particular the fortitude of the Ukrainian people, we will feature a world premiere by Oleg Boyko. 25% of ticket sales goes to support those suffering in Ukraine.

About the Event
"Resistance" is a celebration of the courange and stregth of those who have suffered at th ehands of oppression. Honoring in particular the fortitude of women, African Americans, the poor and the people of Ukraine, the music explores the experiences of these communities.
This concert will feature two world premieres. The first by Oleg Boyko, written during the Russian invasion, is a concerto for guitar and chamber orchestra, featuring Mark Wilson on guitar. The second is "Shadowbanks" by Leanne Primiani, a tone poem depicting the forces that caused the financial collapse of 2008.
In a gesture of solidarity, The Sound Ensemble, will donate 25% of ticket sales to humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
