Spencer's COVID shenanigans include, but are neither limited to nor noticeably enhanced by, shed building, solo cello and guitar work, zoom meetings, and long walks on the beach.

Spencer Hoveskeland (bass) spent decades composing, arranging , and performing in an internationally touring bass and cello duo. His formal studies were at university in Washington state initially with Chuck Israels, and also but also with violinist Peter Marsh (Lennox Quartet, Thornton Music School), Cellist Barton Frank (Piatagorsky prodigy), cellist Walter Gray (Kronos) , and most influentially with Clarinetist and conductor Arthur Bloom (Dorian Wind quintet NY arts Council). His informal studies include playing hair metal and hard Klezmer music.
